Job Title: O&G Senior Architect

Location: EMC - Lagos

Job description

Responsible for identifying and developing solution potential new solutions, and establishing rollout and support models for new and existing vertical solutions offerings. Responsible for supporting the tactical roll out and success of EMC’s O&G Industry Solutions within the O&G client base globally. Understands EMC’s products/services and solutions and how they can add value to the O&G industry. Key contributor to the thought leadership of future industry solutions.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    Drive growth of all EMC platforms, software and services globally within the O&G sector
    Identify best practices and potential industry specific solutions within the O&G marketplace
    Design architectures that support upstream requirements
    Partner application testing, qualifications and certifications
    Identifying  and architect potential new solutions
    Provide O&G domain expertise to assist direct sales reps with tactical O&G account planning
    Provide O&G domain expertise to deliver credible O&G specific presentations on O&G sales calls
    Capability to generate and deliver solution themed whitepapers at key industry events
    Focus on relationship maintenance with key executives at partner and customer accounts

    Reputation as thought-leader in the Vertical Segment
    knowledge of upstream data
    Established network of key contacts at segment companies/partners

    Excellent presentation and communication abilities
    Ability to influence Sr. management on issues relating to sales, products, business, or strategy
