Our client is a recently restructured and recapitalized Microfinance Bank looking to attract hardworking, self-motivated and qualified individuals to join the turnaround team


We are looking for exceptional candidates to fill the following roles

Position: Head, Sales: Ref. Code: MFBHS 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additions qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of eight (8) years post-qualification experience out of which, at least, five (5) must be in the financial services industry and at least, three (3) at the senior management level
    Proven results, skills and competences in practical microfinance and MSME banking especially in a turnaround or start-up scenario
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Sales Officers: Ref. Code: MFBHS 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline
    Ability to learn quickly combined with excellent interpersonal and selling skills
    2-3 years sales experience in either financial services or FMCG sector.
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: MD/CEO – Ref. Code: MFBMD 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of eight (8) years post-qualification experience out of which, at least, five (5) must be in the financial services industry and at least, three (3) at the senior management level
    Proven skills and competences in practical microfinance and MSME banking especially in a turnaround or start-up scenario
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Head, Internal Control & Compliance- Ref. Code: MFHIC 01
Min. Requirement

    First degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience-out of which, at least four (4) must have been in the financial services industry and at least, two (2) at the senior management level in an audit/control role
    Proven skills and competences in setting up and managing effective control structures.
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage



Position: Head, HR Corporate Services: Ref. Code: MFHHR 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience out of which, at least, four (4) must be in the financial services industry and at least, two (2) at the senior management level
    Proven results, skills and competences in practical Microfinance and MSME banking especially in a turnaround or start-up scenario
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Head, Credit & Risk Management: Ref. Code: MFHCR 01
Min. Requirement

    First degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience out of which, at least four (4) must have been in the financial services industry and at least, two (2) at the senior management level in a Credit/Risk Management role
    Proven skills and competences in managing credit for individuals and MSMEs.
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Credit & Risk Management Officers: Ref. Code: MFBCR 01
Min. Requirement

    Minimum of HND or BSC in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
    Excellent analytical skills combined with working knowledge of Finance & Accounting
    2-3 years working experience in a credit role focused on individuals and MSMEs
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage


Position: Head Operations: Ref. Code: MFBHO 01
Min. Requirement

    First degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience out of which, at least four (4) must have been in the financial services industry and at least, two (2) at the senior management level in an operations role.
    Proven skills and competences in practical microfinance and MSME banking especially in a turnaround or start-up scenario
    Excellent Customer Service orientation
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Operations Officers: Ref. Code: MFBOO 01
Min. Requirement

    Minimum of HND or BSC in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
    Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong service delivery orientation
    2-3 years operations experience in a financial institution
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Head Finance Accounts and Strategy: Ref. Code: MFHFS 01
Min. Requirement

    First degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage).
    Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience out of which, at least four (4) must have been in the financial services industry and at least, two (2) at the senior management level in the finance function.
    Proven skills and competences in managing the finance function of an MFB and sound understanding of regulatory requirements
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: Finance Officers: Ref. Code: MFBFO 01
Min. Requirement

    Minimum of HND or BSC in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
    Excellent analytical skills combined with working knowledge of Finance & Accounting
    2-3 years working experience in a finance role in an MFB
    Certification in Microfinance Banking will be an added advantage

Position: IT Officers: Ref. Code: MFBIT 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline
    2-3 years of hands-on practical experience in an enterprise IT environment
    Possession of relevant IT certification will be an added advantage

Position: Human Capital Officers: Ref. Code: MFBHC 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline
    2-3 years of hands-on practical Human Resources experience

Position: Admin Officers: Ref. Code: MFBHC 01
Min. Requirement

    A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline
    2-3 years of hands-on practical experience in administration and support services
