Michael Stevens Consulting is recruiting on-behalf of her client, a top commecial bank in Nigeria to fill the positions in the bank.

Job Position: Human Resource Executive

Main Duties

Coordinate the administration of the Recruitment and Selection processes, working in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager.
Work with the HR Manager to administer and coordinate new staff Induction program.
Facilitate new employee information and maintenance to the Payroll Unit.
Assist with the administration and maintenance of the staff performance review process.
In conjunction with other members of the HR Unit provide advice on the interpretation of HR Policies, procedures, guidelines and employee relations issues to staff and management.
Work in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager, to develop and maintain a centralised position description data base for all positions.
Maintain human resource data bases to ensure correct recording of all staff and employment related information as required.
Assist with preparation of HR metric data reports as required.
Coordinate and maintain the Human Resources personnel filing systems.


Degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management or any other relevant discipline
Professional qualifications is desirable
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Required Skills:
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Sound understanding of HR functions
Knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Law is a must
Positive, enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
