JOB TITLE: INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICERS

Plan and conduct individual risk-based audits of the airline with a view to identifying & control weaknesses, material errors, non-adherence with policies and procedures, with adequate emphasis on overall impact to the business. The Audit Officer plays a critical role in quantifying risks and providing assurance to a single business unit / audit Centre on the effective management of risks to which the Audit Centre is exposed.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement detailed audit work for each scheduled audit using the most efficient and effective audit techniques & procedures applicable to specific risk categories, within the broad audit program framework specified by the Audit Department so that the audit objectives are achieved and the risks identified are addressed.
• Review status and existence of internal controls in the audit areas by conducting pre-audit discussions with line staff, using Updated process/control maps with relevant data, prepared and placed in the IA permanent file and through compliance tests and transactions checks.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial, commercial, engineering and operational data with a view to identifying material errors, possible revenue leakages, inconsistencies with procedures and policies.
• Collect, compile and annotate relevant and competent audit evidence in support of audit findings, properly documented and indexed/cross-referenced working papers which support the audit field work, observations and conclusions.
• Perform special investigations as required from time to time in order to establish facts, either to address a client's concern or to comment on possible irregularities.
• Conduct follow-up audits with supervisory line staff to ensure that all accepted audit recommendations have been implemented within the agreed period.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring that each flight under their control is planned and operated safely and in accordance with all applicable regulations.
• Ensuring that all factors affecting safety are considered.
• Providing flight operational support which include, but not limited to, Flight Planning, Flight Watch, Weather Briefing, and Communication as required by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations and those applicable sections of the Operations Manual.
• Exercising operational control on a co-authority basis with the PIC and for the joint responsibility of the safe efficient planning and monitoring of a flight.
• Performing Operational Flight Watch and for determining if changes to operational and meteorological conditions may affect the safety of flights within a prescribed area or on assigned routes, and for communicating those changes to the PIC.
• Formulating and implementing revised Operational Flight Plans when conditions warrant, and for communicating the revised plans to the PIC.
• Providing and communicating revised Operational Flight Plans to optimize revenue payload potential while maintaining adequate Safety standards.

JOB TITLE: MANAGER ENGINEERING PLANNING

His/her responsibility will include the control of Maintenance planning ,Technical Publications, Configuration and Technical Records to support managing Maintenance Forecast, Long and Mid Term Planning and Scheduling of all aircraft equipments engine maintenance and setting Planning Standards to ensure a cost effective maintenance schedule plan is maintained for airline in line with the requirement of Manufacturer/ NCAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the MP department to ensure that all commitments to Service Providers, staff and regulatory authorities are efficiently delivered.
• Establishes short term maintenance planning concept to achieve departmental objectives and goals for all tasks below the valve of A check.
• Manages and controls the resource, tooling and workload planning and maintenance data functions for the Airline in line with NCAA requirement /EASA 145 regulation.
• Plans and coordinates the Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) test flights.
• Monitor Technical Records paperwork
• Management and Control of Maintenance Requirements (MRs), in regards to Scheduling, Configuration, Technical Records, Engine and Component Maintenance, Production Support Engineering Standards to achieve department/organization objectives and goals (cost effective and confirms to regulatory requirements).
• Work closely with the Maintenance Programs and Planning (MPP) and the Maintenance Data Analysis (MDA) groups to identify cost reduction opportunities.

Be type rated in JT8D 219/217 C series engine.

Be current with Nigerian Civil Aviation regulations with the valid medicals.
