American University of Nigeria Job Vacancies for Sport Assistant in Adamawa (

The university offers an American-style education modelled after the curriculum of American universities with corresponding approaches to teaching and students assessment. The first entering class of 124 students and 20 professors was enrolled in September 2005. The University started on temporary buildings at the AUN Academy located directly opposite the AUN campus. Job Title: Sport Assistant

Job Location: Adamawa

Job Description

    The Sport Assistant, oversees AUN Club House gym facilities and attends guests of the Fitness center, monitors use of the facilities and equipment, and cleans and maintains equipment.


    At least ND in related field, with two year(s) of experience in a reputable Institution.
    Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items bending, standing, climbing or walking.
    Must be able to work safely in an environment.
    Routinely required to work under different weather conditions.
    Effective English - verbal and written communication.
    Strong knowledge of gym equipments and procedure.
    Ability to work on shift and a team player.

 Other requirements, abilities for the position:

    Attend to emergencies when necessary.
    Attend safety meetings and other related meetings.
    Assist in the instruction and supervision of work orders.
    Assist with inventory control and security.
    Support and enforce all policies of AUN gym/fitness center.


    Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and job classification as approved by the University.
