OPERATIONS OFFICER, FINANCIAL OFFICER, EXECUTIVE OFFICER JOB VACANCIES AT DELOITTE


In line with the Federal Government of Nigeria's recent drive to grow the housing market by bridging the funding cost of residential mortgages and promoting the availability and affordability of housing to Nigerians; the Federal Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria, the World Bank Group, Department for International Development (DFID) and mortgage finance institutions is setting up a Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC).



1. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CLS003)


This position will oversee the management of the company's funds to ensure availability of sufficient liquidity to finance its operations at all times consistent with acceptable risks.

The holder of this position must possess the following minimum specifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and other related field
Member of a professional body preferably, ACCA, ACA etc.
Minimum of 10 years industry experience out of which 7 – 10 years must have been in management role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and the financial markets

2. CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER (CLS002)

This position will support the company's Chief Executive Officer on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations in the company.

The occupant of this position must possess the following minimum specifications:

Bachelor's degree in Economics/Business Administration/Accounting
Post graduate degree (most preferred)
Minimum of (10) years industry experience in various roles
At least 5 – 8 years operations management experience
Experience in setting-up and implementing underwriting policies and procedure

3. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CLS001)


The holder of this position will report to the Board of Directors and supervise the activities of the Chief Operation Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The role will involve leading the corporate strategy and providing strategic guidance and oversight to the management team. Working closely with the Board of Director to formulate appropriate investment policies and strategies, the occupant of this position must possess the following specifications at the minimum:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business Administration/Accounting
Post graduate degree (most preferred)
Ten (10) years professional experience in banking at senior management level
Strong understanding of fixed income market, bond structuring, legal intricacies of mortgage backed securities and a comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products their legal issues, payment structures and maturity matching
Knowledge and understanding of African banking and financial sector
